Led by artists Beth O'Halloran and Kitty Rogers, New Perspectives Through Drawing will see participants engaging with modern and contemporary art through an experimental approach to drawing and an exploration of artists' techniques, concepts, subject matter and ideas in a format which will both emphasise innovation and provide a technical basis for participants coming to drawing for the first time. These explorations will be manifested through life drawing from the clothed figure and through the artworks in the Gallery's collection.
Led by artists Beth O'Halloran and Kitty Rogers, Life Drawing is for those with previous drawing experience. These classes explore drawing techniques entirely through life drawing from the clothed figure.
Tuesday's Aspects of Drawing, led by artist John Adye-Curran, will explore traditional drawing techniques through experimental observation. These explorations will be manifested through life drawing from the clothed figure and through the artworks in the Gallery's collection.
Registration for these courses opens on Wednesday 20TH April 2011 from 10.30am.
