New Perspectives through Drawing

10.00am-12pm (€110)

Saturdays, 8 October– 3 December 2011 (excluding October Bank Holiday weekend)

Led by artists Felicity Clear and Beth O’Halloran, New Perspectives Through Drawing will see participants engaging with modern and contemporary art through an experimental approach to drawing and an exploration of artists’ techniques, concepts, subject matter and ideas in a format which will both emphasise innovation and provide a technical basis for participants coming to drawing for the first time. These explorations will be manifested through life drawing from the clothed figure and through the artworks in the Gallery’s collection.
