Slow Moving Clouds and Tulca
The Beauty of Connection
Paul Roe clarinets, Shayan Coohe tar/tombak , Shahab Coohe santoor, Ultan O’Brien fiddle/viola, Aki nyckelharpa, Kevin Murphy celloTwo unique dublin-based groups play music blending traditional and contemporary instruments and influences including Iran, Finland and Ireland. These two vibrant ensembles are brought together for the first time. Both groups explore rich sonic textures and ambience in sound-worlds that defy categorisation. For this performance Tulca and Slow Moving Clouds will explore new and existing repertoire evoking new sound perspectives.
