Saturday 4th of April
A lunchtime recital by Kathleen Loughnane (harp) and Cormac Cannon (uileann pipes), hosted by The Hugh Lane Gallery and Yeats 150 Harp Festival of Moons.
On the 4th full moon of the year, this recital forms part of the Harp Festival of Moons yearlong festival of live harp recitals that will take place on every full moon in 2015. The locations for performances have been selected because of their association with the harp and Yeats' work and life.
Professor of English Gerald Dawe, Trinity College Dublin and Director of the Oscar Wilde Centre for Irish Writing, will also read a selection of poetry by William Butler Yeats.
Recital begins at 1pm and is free of charge.
