Art, Culture and Conflict is a seminar initiated by the Hugh Lane's Education and Research department in collaboration with Dublintellectual. Taking as its starting points the themes explored by Richard Hamilton and Rita Donagh in the exhibition Civil Rights etc., and by Willie Doherty in DISTURBANCE this seminar will present recent research in the area of art, culture and conflict by scholars from UCD, TCD, Queens University, Belfast and NCAD.
