This May, Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane is delighted to present an exciting programme of special events in association with Bealtaine Festival 2013. Ireland’s largest co-operative Arts festival, Bealtaine celebrates and encourages participation in the arts by showcasing the talents and creativity of the older generation. May highlights include a special dance performance by Cois Ceim, an ensemble cast of dancers aged 50+, called Dance Across Dublin, special tours each Tuesday in May at 11am, coffee lectures on Wednesday mornings,Thursday morning painting classes inspired by the gallery collection, and film screenings each Friday morning.  Advanced booking and a course fee is required for some events.
