We were honoured to welcome folk legend Joan Baez to the Brian Maguire exhibition ‘La Grande Illusion’.
Throughout her life, Joan has immersed herself in human rights activism. According to Amnesty International, her work includes “marching for civil rights with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., fighting for the rights of California’s migrant farm workers alongside César Chávez, supporting gay and lesbian rights and traveling around the world to participate in human rights missions.”
Visit ‘La Grande Illusion’, spanning two decades of Brian Maguire’s work that spotlights the artist’s repeated quest to draw attention to global injustices, war, and human rights. Until 23rd March.
