A very special concert featuring arrangements of works by The Velvet Underground performed by Glasshouse Ensemble with guests.
In 1966 Andy Warhol became The Velvet Underground’s manager and the band served as a ‘house band’ at his studio, The Factory. They went on to produce some of the most iconic music of the era, encapsulating a time and a vision which has influenced music from the avant garde to mainstream popular music. We are delighted to present these songs in the surroundings of the exhibition.
