Guided tours of the collection and temporary exhibitions cost €30 per group, up to a maximum of 30 people in a group.  At least two weeks’ notice in advance of a proposed date is requested when booking a guided tour.

Should you wish to book a guided tour for your class  please contact Cleo Fagan, e. [email protected] or tel. 01 2225553 to discuss a proposed tour date and time.

For self-guided visits, groups must remain under the supervision of their group leader while in the gallery. Please contact the gallery in advance of a proposed self-guided visit on 01 2225553.

A general tour will cover highlights of the Gallery’s collection and temporary exhibitions which ranges from Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Degas and Manet to the Francis Bacon studio and works by contemporary Irish and international artists. However, should you wish to look at particular works you can specify this and your guide will be informed. Advance preparation in the classroom is very beneficial when planning your visit to the Gallery. To avoid disappointment always check with the Education Department to see what artworks are on display if you have specific artworks in mind.
