This special in-conversation talk with artist Brian Maguire and curator Declan McGonagle took place on Thursday 28 November 2024 in the early evening at Hugh Lane Gallery. Declan and Brian who have known each other, and have worked together regularly, for almost 40 years, in a variety of gallery, museum and project settings and share a commitment to artists’ and curators’ active role in society. This talk is part of the programme for La Grande Illusion, a solo exhibition of work by artist Brian Maguire currently on display at the gallery.
