Temporary exhibitions have taken place at The Hugh Lane (formerly the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art) since the gallery moved to its current home on Parnell Square in 1933. In that year works by Auguste Rodin were shown, on loan from the Musée Rodin, Paris. Exhibitions became more frequent from the late 1950s onwards.
Work is ongoing to compile a complete list of exhibitions at The Hugh Lane and this list will be updated as research continues.
