Duo Anima are Andreea Banciu (viola) and Aileen Cahill (piano). With the aim of showcasing the beautiful, but less well-known, viola repertoire they have performed and toured extensively. Over the past decade, the Duo has become increasingly dedicated to the inclusion of music by women, and have recently completed a recording of works for Viola and Piano by women composers from Ireland and Britain. This is due for release in 2025.
