Broadcast from the sculpture hall, Hugh Lane Gallery at 12 noon on Sunday
Join acclaimed Irish pianist Dr. Fionnuala Moynihan for a recital of works by Chopin and his favourite composers. Chopin’s admiration for the masterpieces composed by Bach and Mozart is widely known. What sometimes comes as a surprise is the fact that Chopin used to teach works by John Field to his own students though the constant comparison to the great Irish pianist-composer sometimes irritated Chopin.
