Join our combined Visual Thinking Strategies tour and art-making workshop for Dublin Learning City Festival 2023. Artist Ashleigh Downey will guide participants on a tour of selected artworks and facilitate discussion using the Visual Thinking Strategies method – a method that encourages participants to think speculatively and to respond to an image from their point of view, offering evidence for their ideas grounded in their observations. Following this discussion, participants will join Ashleigh in an art activity that further explores the materials and concepts of the artworks discussed on the tour.
