Our Explore and Learn team creates dynamic, innovative and inspiring programmes of creativity and art appreciation for people of all ages and interests.
***Our Education and Community outreach programmes will be taking place entirely off-site in locations throughout the city during our refurbishment period. These inspiring education programmes forge myriad connections with our diverse communities from early years to children, young people and adults. Acknowledging the important role that Hugh Lane Gallery, art and creativity plays in community and wellbeing, we are staying connected to you through identifying strategic spaces throughout the city. These offsite locations include schools, community centres, DCC public libraries, third level institutions among many others. From our Art in the Classroom programmes to afterschool art clubs with children from NEIC, to offsite art talks, Citywide salons, practical art courses and programmes for early years, teens and young people.
