Building, Beauty and Form – workshop for adults with artist Laragh Pittman
Taking as inspiration the works of painter Sean Scully in the HLG collection, the workshop will be an opportunity to explore the structure of the building which houses the Hugh Lane Gallery. As well as taking a close look at the Sean Scully paintings in the gallery, this workshop, led by artist Laragh Pitman will include an opportunity to collect quick sketches, photographs and notes about details of the building. Working with paint, paper, card and collage the participants will each create a series of constructions to capture something of the monumental shape of this beautiful space.
