We delighted to be partnering with City Connects, a pilot government programme in the North East Inner City (NEIC) area. The aim of City Connects is to ensure that each and every student receives all the services and resources they need in order to succeed and thrive.
After School Art Club
Since 2024, we have curated imaginative after school artist-led art workshops for children from the NEIC area. Taking place at the Hugh Lane Gallery, the children look at artworks through out the gallery spaces with opportunities for discussion and sketching. Artist-led practical art workshops then take place in our Education Studio Space.
Art in the Classroom
We also organise creative sketching tours for children at the Hugh Lane Gallery followed by art workshops in their classroom led by the talented artists from HLG panel. All ten primary schools in the NEIC area participate in these creative encounters.
