Contemporary Art Practice: Artist Claire Halpin will discuss her work which explores themes and concepts around contested territories and histories through painting, video and installation.

Claire Halpin is a visual artist born and based in Dublin, Ireland. She has exhibited widely in group exhibitions in Ireland and internationally including 38th EVA International, Limerick City Gallery; 189th RHA Annual, Dublin; dlr Open, Municipal Gallery, Lexicon, Dún Laoghaire; Cáirde Visual, The Model, Sligo; Water Tower Art Festival, Sofia, Bulgaria and Artisterium VI, Tbilisi International Contemporary Art Exhibition, Georgia. Halpin is represented by Olivier Cornet Gallery, Dublin. Her work is represented in the collections of IMMA, TCD Art Collection, OPW State Art collection among others.
