Poetry Portraits: responding to More Power to You: Sarah Purser — a force in Irish art with poet Grace Wilentz.
This workshop will touch on Sarah Purser’s life and legacy, before exploring her work exhibited in the Gallery, with a focus on her portraits of women. We will read and discuss the art of the portrait and self-portrait in poetry, before writing our own original poems in response. No previous experience in poetry is required.
