Introduction to Printmaking for Adults
Saturday 14 September, 2-4pm; Saturday 28 September 2024 11am-1pm; and 2-4pm
This three-part course led by artist Janine Davidson will explore a variety of printmaking techniques such as Drypoint, Chine Collé and Embossing. We will spend time looking and sketching from exciting artworks in the gallery to inspire our own original Fine Art Prints. Suitable for beginners and those with previous experience.

Janine Davidson is an arts educator and curator with an international profile. Over the past two decades, she has established international networks and developed a career as an arts educator committed to engaging the wider public in visual arts practice in Ireland and abroad. She is a master-printmaker, member of the Blackchurch Print Studio, At Home Studios and the Hugh Lane Gallery panel of artists, guides and lecturers. She teaches photo-etching at the Blackchurch Print Studio. She has also worked with the CDETB for over 19 years devising and facilitating adult education programmes as well as intensive post -primary projects.
