Anca Danila is a visual artist born in Romania and based in Dublin where she lives and has worked for more than a decade. She has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her works have been displayed in numerous exhibitions in institutions and galleries around the world. Passionate about psychology, sociology and contemporary anthropology, Anca talks about Identity in a world of Globalisation. Her artistic concerns, in the last ten years, are a reflection on her own process of migration, emphasizing the “patterns” common to all, regardless of the country of origin. In addition to her artistic activity, Anca has also been teaching art for over 10 years, sharing her artistic knowledge with both children and adults.
